Shifting from “More Is Better” to “Simpler Is Better”
A few years ago, my skincare routine was actually quite complicated. Back then, I believed that the more steps I included, the better the results would be. Cleanser, toner, serum, lotion, cream—plus various specialty products like exfoliators, masks, and repair serums—my vanity was always cluttered with bottles and jars.
However, the reality was that my skin didn’t become more stable with all those extra steps. On the contrary, it was prone to redness during seasonal changes and would occasionally suffer from dryness, stinging, or mild sensitivity. My skin seemed to become even more “temperamental,” especially after using products with complex ingredient lists.
That was when I realized the issue might not be a lack of skincare, but rather that my routine was simply too complicated.
Discovering Simple Organic
What truly changed my approach to skincare was a chance encounter while browsing online. I first came across the brand Simple Organic while researching trends in natural skincare.
What initially drew me in was their clear philosophy: natural, organic, and ingredient transparency, with a strong emphasis on being friendly to both the skin and the environment. Unlike many brands that focus on “layering benefits,” Simple Organic felt like it was taking a “less is more” approach.
I began to seriously explore their product line—ranging from basic cleansers and moisturizers to facial oils, body care, and makeup—and found that almost everything centered on one core principle: minimizing irritation to allow the skin to return to a more natural state.
With an open mind, I selected a few basic products to try out.
Redefining Cleansing: Gentleness Is the Top Priority
The first product I purchased was Simple Organic’s gentle cleanser.
In the past, my requirements for a cleanser were simple: it had to clean thoroughly and leave my skin feeling “fresh.” Looking back, however, that sensation of being “squeaky clean” often meant the cleanser was too harsh, potentially stripping away the skin’s natural protective barrier.
The experience with Simple Organic’s cleanser was completely different. It had a softer texture and didn’t produce an abundant lather, yet it felt incredibly light on my face without causing any tightness. My skin felt clean after washing, but without that uncomfortable “stretched” sensation. The most noticeable change is that my face no longer feels instantly dry after washing it in the morning, nor do I feel the urge to rush and apply a heavy cream as a “quick fix.”
This gentle experience made me seriously consider—for the first time—that effective skincare doesn’t necessarily require a harsh or stinging sensation.

The Shift in Moisturizers: From “Heavy Protection” to “Lightweight Repair”
The second significant change I noticed came from using Simple Organic’s moisturizer.
I used to rely on thick, heavy creams, believing that “sealing in moisture” was the only way to be effective. However, these products often felt suffocating—especially during the day—and sometimes even interfered with makeup application.
Simple Organic’s moisturizer has a noticeably lighter texture; it spreads easily and absorbs quickly without leaving an oily film or weighing the skin down.
More importantly, it doesn’t create a sense of “dependency”; instead, it allows the skin to gradually regain its balance while maintaining a stable state.
After using it for a while, I noticed my skin was much more stable when I woke up in the morning—no longer fluctuating wildly between dryness and oiliness like before.
Serums and Facial Oils: Simplifying My Skincare Routine
After trying Simple Organic’s serums and facial oils, I was able to significantly streamline my skincare routine.
I used to layer multiple serums in hopes of tackling various issues, but this often just overloaded my skin. Now, I prefer a simpler, more fundamental combination of products.
Simple Organic’s serums are lightweight and fast-absorbing, so they don’t clash with other steps in my routine. As for the facial oil, I use it at night; a small amount is enough to cover my entire face.
What impressed me most was that they don’t feel heavy or suffocating; instead, they allow my skin to repair itself in a state of comfort.
Gradually, I cut my routine down from seven or eight steps to just three or four—and my skin has actually become more stable as a result.
Body Care: An Often Overlooked but Crucial Step
Beyond facial skincare, I also started using Simple Organic’s body care products.
I used to pay very little attention to the skin on my body, usually just slapping on some lotion after a shower. But after using Simple Organic’s body lotion, I realized that the skin on my body needs gentle care, too.
The texture isn’t overly heavy; it absorbs quickly upon application and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. Especially during the dry season, my skin doesn’t feel tight or flaky.
This “lightweight” feel makes me want to use the products every day, rather than just occasionally.
A sense of security through ingredient transparency
As I continued using Simple Organic, I began paying closer attention to the ingredients.
Unlike many products with complex formulas I’ve used in the past, Simple Organic clearly lists its ingredients, making it easy to understand the core function of each product. This transparency puts my mind at ease when using them.
I used to worry about irritation or breakouts whenever I tried new skincare products, but that anxiety has significantly diminished.
Skincare is no longer a process of trial and error; it has become a steady, reliable daily habit.

Changes in my skin condition were gradual
After using Simple Organic for a while, I didn’t experience any “instant whitening” or “rapid transformation”; instead, I saw steady, consistent improvement.
My skin is less prone to redness, sensitivity during seasonal changes has decreased, and its overall condition is more stable. Most notably, I no longer need a complex repair routine in the morning; simple cleansing and basic moisturizing are enough to keep my skin feeling comfortable all day long.
While these changes aren’t dramatic, they are very real.
I’ve come to understand the true meaning of “simple skincare”
I used to view skincare as an “intensive process,” but now I see it more as a “balancing act.”
Simple Organic helped me rethink the logic of skincare: it’s not about constantly adding more products, but about choosing ones that truly suit your skin without disrupting its natural state.
Minimizing irritation and reducing the burden on the skin—allowing it to return to its natural rhythm—may well be the most effective long-term approach.
Skincare becomes more stable when simplified
Looking back at this journey, my biggest takeaway is that a complex skincare routine isn’t necessarily better.
Through my experience with Simple Organic, I’ve developed a simpler, more stable skincare routine. It hasn’t produced exaggerated results, but it has given me a more comfortable and sustainable skin condition.
Skincare is no longer a “chore” but a natural part of my daily life.
And Simple Organic has played a vital role in this transformation.
